I thought everyone was just trying to scare me. I thought, "there are no ghosts here. they just wanna scare the volunteer and make me freak out." That night in Insanity, I was working in the Body Pit Room. I was on my hands and knees following a group down the hall and when I turned around to come back I saw someone in front of me. It was a man and he was pretty tall. I looked up and he was looking at me. I thought it was a customer trying to get by so I stood up. When I stood up he was gone. I thought maybe it was my imagination, but later that night when I was waiting for a group, I saw the same man down the hall just staring at me. The person that was working in the room before mine said that she heard footsteps but saw no one, and I told her I see someone walking toward us but didnt hear footsteps at all. The weird part is, I never saw a face on the man. He was just like a dark shadow. Also he never made it to the end of the hall. He just like disappeared. The closest I got to him was when I thought someone was about to run over me. All I saw at that point was shoes. It was cool and scary all at the same time. Now I know when I hear stories of Burial Chambers actually being haunted, that no ones trying to scare me or trick me, its all true.

We decided when we got there that we were going to purchase the package where you got all 4 houses/woods/coffin ride. My only thing I wish they would've done is tell you about the wait in the line for either of the first houses. It was great they had the screens up playing movies, creatures going around and scraring you, but it took us about 2 1/2 hours to get into our first house...after that though they all went quickly since it was late after going through the first one. The two houses were great with their scares, the coffin ride was thrilling to actually be in one, but my favorite part I think was the haunted forest because it's harder to see who's out there and the fact that my friends and I were the last ones in the group so the creatures would follow us for a bit. It was definitely worth the money we spent as long as you don't mind a wait to get in. If you want to get into them quicker I definitely suggest you buy the VIP tickets. Thanks for the awesome scares and I hope to submit some of the photos that were taken while we were there...J

We love the "in your face" atmosphere. The actors obviously love their jobs and do it well. Wish the weather had been better as they had Phobia closed that night, but that was out of their control. So after 2 asthma attacks, and loads of laughs and screams, we will be returning again next year. Thanks again for a great time. And thanks "Bob" for keeping the wait in line interesting. :)

Last Saturday myself and a group of friends decided to travel to Neenah, WI for the Burial chamber complex and let me tell you it lives up to the hype. Before I get into detail about the houses and haunt overall, I would highly recommend the timed VIP tickets that can be purchased via their website before hand. We purchased the 8:30pm timed VIP tickets and it will save you hours of waiting. We arrived and they had people directing you to the proper parking lot, which was done smoothly. When they where able to walk right up to the VIP ticket window (the line for regular tickets had to be at least 1 hour long) . Got our tickets for the haunt and jumped in Adrenaline’s VIP line. Within 10 minutes we where paired with a group of 6 others (we already had 4 so, I thought 10 was sorta big group) and entered the house. I would also like to note that the line to enter this haunt with regular tickets was well over 1 hour long. The haunt did a good job of mixing actors and pressured air jets to scare the guest walking thru. The set designs where very well done. Even one room that an almost sponge like flooring! It took us about 20 to 25 minutes to get thru this haunt. After that we where on to Insanity! Another very well thought out house where it makes you believe you are going in circles at times, losing your way, or even being sprayed with blood. This haunt was also well planned and though out. It also took us about 20 to 25 minutes to pass thru. Up next we headed to the haunted woods known as Phobia. The wait in the VIP line was about 20 minutes for this haunt , but that was because they put you in smaller groups. My group of 4 was allowed to go by our self. The walk thru was only about 10 minutes long, but it is pitch black in the woods and the actors did a great job again. After that for $4.00 more we did the Burial Chamber simulators. They where fun but didn’t live up to the hype.
Summary
Overall this was a very done haunt, the set designs are top notch along with the actors. I would highly recommend this haunt and will be attending in the future.

| | Date: | 10/19/2009 10:25:45 PM | | Subject: | Detailed Review | | | I went through all 4 attractions, and this is what I have to say...
Adrenaline - 4/5. The house was super detailed! All of the sets, and actors were top-notch. The only thing that the house could have done without were the air-cannons. it freaked me out at first, but I found them to get annoying after awhile. Most memorable moment was the Toilet that was spewing water.. Major creep-out scene!
Insanity - 1/5. I did not enjoy this house at all.. It really did not change at all since last year. Once again with the air-cannons, could have done without. I also found myself getting bored in the mazes, and all-in-all.. the house was too loud. I gave this a 1 because of these reasons, tip for next year... try moving things around a lot, and making bigger rooms, and less mazes.
Phobia - 5/5. TRULY AMAZING! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! This is by far my favorite attraction at the complex. I really felt like I was in one of those horror movies, getting chased through the woods by a crazed killer. I almost fell into the swamp, but their was a lot of scares in Phobia.
Coffin Ride - 1/5. The creative aspect of the coffin ride was unique, but the lighting in the room could have been darkened a bit more. Every time it tipped light came into the coffin, hence ruining the dark-effect.
All in all, good job guys! Keep up the great work!

| | Date: | 10/18/2009 12:25:23 PM | | Subject: | Burial Chamber!!!! | | | My friends and I were trying to decide on which Haunted complex to go to yesterday (sat Oct 17) Burial Chamber was where we decided to go, so the five of us took the drive from Waupaca headed to Neenah. The ticket line was long, the lines to get into the 3 different events were long, but moved quickly! After 45 minutes we entered INSANITY~ it was scary, dark, and freaky feeling! As we walked out the back door, we ran into Dave, one of the best workers they have!!! He suggested that we should have gotten timed tickets or VIP's which let you skip lines (buy them they are worth the extra cost) and being the most Awesome guy that he is, he helped us out with that!! He even walked through that scary wooded Phobia trail that almost made me PEE MY PANTS with us!! I don't know what that little thing was that came running out at me, but I almost ran right into the water! LOL! We then walked around to Adrenaline, they are completely honest when they say that it will get your blood pumping~ OH MY GOSH, was that great!! My suggestion would be to not have your friends say your name, "JESSI" sounds really scary, especially when your not sure where it is coming from. We got lost inside there, switching doors makes it so your travels are always different! I cannot begin to decide which of the three haunts they have is my favorite, each one had me screaming, running, laughing so hard my guts hurt today, and practically crawling over my friends to get away! The things you experience inside Burial Chamber are like NO OTHER! I try to go to haunted houses every year, I made the BEST choice this year, I haven't jumped or screamed that much since I was little! Thank you to the staff at Burial Chamber and a big thanks to DAVE, for doing such a great job!! I will definitely return next year, and for many years after that! ONCE AGAIN, GREAT JOB BURIAL CHAMBER! Jesssssssssi (in a scary voice) | | | | | |

I think I must have smooshed his feet and slammed into him at least 30 times while trying to retreat. These young people are great at what they do. If you have a chance...you must go. The harder I tried to notice what was coming next I'd be totally caught off guard. I haven't jumped, laughed, and screamed that much in such a long time. This is not a small area. It takes time to go through so you don't feel like you been rushed and it's over. The terror and excitement goes on and on and on. Thanks people for this years "Adrenaline Rush"

I went to Terror on the fox and there were so many spots where you could tell characters were suppose to be and no one was there. I didn't even get scared there. But @ the burial chambers wow. A lot of neat new things and sweet rooms. I got scared so bad by this guy with a doctors mask on and i seriously wet myself my best friend laughed at me for peeing my pants at 18 but i dont care it was worth the pee in my pants. I jumped hard core by this guy that was acting like a monkey i thought he was going to jump on us. Great job tho and good acting. You all do a wonderful awesome job. I love the face paintings two who ever Orie is i hear he is totally amazing. Wonderful job this year burial chambers you all kick ass. I am deffinitly coming back next year!

All I can say is, "WOW"! What an amazing haunted attraction! Not only are each of the haunts HUGE, the character actors, which consist of over 120, are absolutely outstanding! The air brushed make-up and the elaborate costumes and room designs make for a fantastic night of horror and fun.
If you plan on experiencing all of the haunts here, plan on being there all night! I had a VIP pass and went through all of them and it still took me 3 hours to get through it all! I definitely recommend the VIP pass. It costs a little more, but if you're looking to not stand in line all night...this is the way to go! When I was there, the line went all the way around the back of the building and they were about 4 people wide in the line.
This is hands-down the best haunted attraction I have ever experienced and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to visit. If you experience the haunt for yourself and loved it, don't forget to vote for them online at HauntedWisconsin.com.

This was our second time visiting the Burial Chamber, we just did the houses because the last time we did the woods and it wasn't very thrilling. But the houses are excellent! I've never screamed before this night. We had a lot of fun and I recommend it. It was worth our 2 hour drive for sure.

I've been to many attractions, but this was by far the best in WI and the midwest. Highly recomend the VIP, lines get long fast. I was waiting in line for it to open and before it even opened someone chickened out because the characters ran past scaring everyone, there was also a ground-creeping, crawling scary dude. I'd give this a 15 out of 10

Burial Chamber is possibly the best haunted experience in the United States, and certainly unequaled in the Midwest. Four haunted attractions comprise the Burial Chamber: the Adrenaline and Insanity haunted houses, the Phobia haunted woods and, the Last Ride Burial Chamber. The combination of all four haunts leaves the participant with a sense of incredulous disbelief. Steven Spielberg himself could produce no better.

The characters are awesome. We had alot of fun interacting with them. Phobia was very well done. The element of surprise is great in the woods. We enjoyed the other houses as well. There was one character who made it more fun. He interacted with us outside and kept popping up throughout the houses as well. We had a great time and know we will return again. Halloween is the best. I could skip the rest just to do more haunted houses. Thanks for an awesome night.
